USB SOCKET

Jazz 1.4 SE 2006............

Can a USB connector socket to run memory sticks via the 2006 c/d player be installed as a retro fix..
The blanking plate is still in there but nothing behind it..?
Anyone had or done this please......if so I'm all ears........ Joe;D

After checking with a Honda main dealer the retro fit of a USB socket in my 2006 Jazz SE
is possible ...............Price they don't quite know........any one had this done yet?
It would replace any FM transmitter units to play MP3 music ..........just plug in the memory stick to go direct to the stereo system.......i think !!! ??? :-\

Don't you mean USB socket? I can't see what use a USB plug would be for, except to be able to connect the car radio (as a device) to a laptop (as a controller).

Thats what i meant,the female of the species, so that i can play memory sticks with my own music on .........according to the main dealer it is a possibility.
Without having to use my FM transmitter...........silly man i am ;D
