Which air filter
« on: December 01, 2015, 08:16:15 PM »
Hi

I need to give my wife's 2008 Jazz Soort a service. Is there an easy way to tell which type of filter I need? Ie. The rectangular one or the one with a corner cut off?

you can give registration plate number or VIN number to local Honda dealer or you can lift up the top of air filter housing and have a quick look.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking about phoning Honda but I want to get a K&N washable replacement filter but I don't think Honda could tell me what type I need but perhaps I could get a part number and then see what that corresponds to in K&N.

I would look ok it but I normally don't get home from work until late and I'd like to order it ready for the weekend.

up to 2005 the air filter was a rectangle one and 2005-2008 was a square one
