Glad to see that you do embrace technology and are not still using street maps etc. :-))

I still have a map book in my car to get the big picture,  and use it  in conjunction with satnav to plan the route I want to take,

Same here while my Tomtom is ok for main roads and motorways it has a habit of occasionally taking me along country roads that are actually longer routes than necessary and when there are other much shorter ways she also sometimes gets her knickers in a twist in towns. ;D

Does she have a name? Mines called Silly Sally SatNav. As she sometimes gets the route wrong. SatNav is great if you know where you are going!

Doris until she gets it wrong then it can be Daft Doris or occasionally when she keeps saying 'Turn around when possible' then it can be several unprintable names. ;D

My satnav is pretty sarcastic - when i have been in slow traffic for about 10 minutes a message appears on the screen asking me if i want to switch to pedestrian mode - just the thing to cheer you up.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

That's what I like about my motorbikes,  no gizmos and gimmicks just a great engine and two wheels,  and I'm the one calling the shots.

What bike have you got? I'm a GS1200 rider

We use our Sat Nav in France and it's a life saver....
We call him " Claude ".
He's entering the Mk3 next year and taking us to Royan again.
Happy Days.
