Electric Sunroof

I have a factory fitted electric sunroof in my 2004 Jazz and have noticed that when it's slid back it doesn't go all the way back it stops with about 3 inches still to go. Is this the same for everyone one of these or should it slide all the way back?
Thanks.

I think they all do that, its a safety device so that you don't get something caught in it. Just release the button and then press again to completely close the roof

I think they are all the same on old model, the inner cover slides back and leaves about 50mm sticking out, and then the sunroof sticks out about 30mm forward of that. Mine closes all the way in one go if I hold the button.
