Floor Mats
« on: September 10, 2020, 09:15:00 PM »
After some new front floor mats, I have the OEM carpet rears which are like new, but the fronts are worn out so was thinking about the genuine Honda rubber front mats but they are £50, does anyone have any experience of these or any other cheaper recommendations?

Have you priced the mats at Cox motors, they normally discount Honda prices. Halfords sell rubber mats that can normally be trimmed to fit.
Good luck with the hunt.

Thanks, the price I quoted for the mats was from Cox.

Hi. I replaced the Honda carpet mats with Honda rubber mats. The rubber mats fit up accurately to the inner sills. They have a lip of around 2cm around the edge so any snow or water or grit stays in the mat. I found the carpet mats more pretty than practical. If anyone wants a set of OEM carpet mats that were on the car for 5k miles then pm me. (mk 2 jazz)

I’ve ordered the genuine rubber front mats from Cox.

I bought some heavy duty rubber mats and some locating pins from Ebay, drill the mats with a 25mm drill and fit the fixings, took all of 5 minutes.

With 25mm fixings the mats are never going to move.
