Just ordered my third Jazz!

Just back from the dealers having ordered a new 1.4 EX.  We should collect it in about 3 weeks.
This one comes with 0% finance & 4 years servicing and Road Side Assistance.
Thought we'd have a few more 'toys' this time hence it's an EX rather than an ES.
Again, managed to get a space saver as part of the deal; and a few bob on the unexpired part of the Service Agreement! 
I'll transfer across the centre armrest, mats & reversing sensors myself!

The outgoing Jazz is an ES, 26,000 miles and two years old next month!

Doesn't the EX already have a fold down centre arm rest for the driver? I'll be interested to know if storage unit can co-exist with it.

Doh, that's what 'drivers seat armrest' means!
As it's fold down, I guess it doesn't have any storage space in it?

You are correct, the EX arm rest is only on the drivers side and no storage.

 However you may be able to fit the Honda armrest/storage unit if you keep the EX arm rest in the up position. It may be a bit tight  - in that case advertise it on the forum you may have a queue .


We added the Elite pack option via hunting around on E bay and buying each item separately  then finished off the Milano Red paintwork with Autoglym products again saving £000's against the retail cost.

Suspension improvement?? I'd like feedback, too, please Geoffers. Driving many miles in Germany earlier this year my Nov. '09 GE felt great. Smooth motorways/autobahns...

What would I hope to be improved? (Mine's a 1.2 SE manual box)
For me personally, this is the order of priority requiring improvement:

Ride... too jiggly/restless (ie. 'suspension'... as in above post.)
Front seats comfort. (Back seats fine.)
Central console, radio display area... dimmer/blackout for that area. 
Handling... for B-road cornering and uneven surfaces.
That's about it!

I wonder what others would add.

Otherwise I like Jazz very much.

Well watch this space second week in November, as I don't get the car for another 3 weeks.
Then we're off to Paris in it, a round trip of more than 1,000 miles so i should be able reply to most of the queries!

Geoffers, It might be your 3rd one but this afternoon I picked up
my 1st one,  a 1.4 EX in Sapphire blue, only a 10 mile drive
home so far but it felt good to drive, now I have a thick handbook
to go through tonight, a Jazz owner at last.

Just picked up my 4th Jazz yesterday (1st GE type and 1st CVT).  Pretty pleased with it but still being gentle.  I was pleasantly suprised at the mpg overoptimism on the M25.  Shame I don't think it's gonna last.

Unfortunately it's now down to mid 40s after a load of local driving Weird thing is it wasn't even a case of reset at the top of a hill and coast down.  It was reset mile or so south of getting on the M25 at J8 then 3.5 miles at 60mph before hitting the traditional lumpy stuff  at J9.  Got 580 miles to do up to N Scotland tomorrow, will be interesting to see how it does on a long haul at 75mph.

Just my rotten luck!
Current Jazz got hit by a piece of flying debris on the A1M today.  Little dent and missing paint on front offside wheel arch.  Gotta see now if the garage want to adjust the figures or not!
