There is a line of black foam between the dashboard and the centre of the windscreen that every few days 'creeps' up by about an 1/8th of an inch (showing my age there!). After about a month its about a quarter of an inch (still showing my age) I'm assuming that it is sound proofing material?

Its quite entertaining really poking it back down with a knife, but how weird is that?

You are all going to notice it now........

(Its an 2011 Ex by the way)

I had the same on my 2010 EX about 3 inches or so across it wasn't there on my 2009 EX. I gave it a good hard shove down with a plastic Premier Inn room card so I didn't damage anything.

It's never re-appeared since but it was annoying to look at.

Cant say I've noticed this on my 09 ES but will def look out for it now!

I get this as well - at first it was a small amount but recently I noticed more. Also used a business card to push it back under the dash - seems to be fine now.
