I found one of the rear windows open when I started to drive the car. I closed the window from the drivers door button. The window immediately opened after every attempt to close it! I was pretty worried to begin with and was ready to phone the dealers for advice. If I closed the window from its own button it seemed to stay. Today it happened again and my mind was a bit more able to figure out the problem. If I assisted the window to close there was no problem. The issue must be caused by some resistance in the window channel causing the mechanism to think fingers are in the gap so it reverses. I will be cleaning the glass and channels. If you find the same problem you know what to do.
