Had a test drive in the Jazz Advance today and I have to say, I didn't really notice much difference in performance.
One thing I didn't like is the change in steering wheel from padded 'leather' on the old EX, to a cheap looking solid plastic, which just didn't have the same 'feel' about it.
So, I have to ask myself, why would I upgrade to the new model, which to my mind is not necessarily better?
Granted I've had a reasonable P/X offer on my old EX, but the new price is several £1000s more than the old. :-[

Am I the one who prefer the "old" Jazz to the new one?
Too much plastic in the bumpers!!
And I love the "tapir" nose of my car!! ;D

What I'm not sure about is the adjustable regenerative via the paddles.

I'm quite happy with B mode as it is. It's fixed, no resetting after each operation.
Let's be careful out there !

I too prefer the MK4 version with its Japanese styling, although I do like the grey colour and wish it had been an option when I purchased mine.

My Honda dealer had a 24 model jazz in the showroom when I had my second service on wed. I presumed by its £28,000 something price it was the top of the range . 3 spoke steering wheel a flappy paddle …
I like the look of my mk4 with its power bulge nose…🤣 don’t feel the urge to change because of the updates

MY24 does not have enough difference to divert me from my intention to keep my 2021 car for about 5 years.
Good P/EX offers look tempting, but much of its  because of inflation .You may get a similar number of pounds as you paid 2 years ago, but it now buys 10% less.

By the time I  will be considering a change   there may be a Mk5 Jazz .Or  3 more years of  battery development and infrastructure improvments, and 3 more years of wear and tear on my own body,   may mean an alternative vehicle now better suits my needs.

My plan is to keep my EX until it's 4 years old & sell while there's some warranty left. I am hoping there will be smaller cheaper EVs with decent range by then.  The current trend of bigger & heavier SUV EVs is of no interest to me.

If the MY24 had a spare wheel & slightly bigger EV battery with 5-10 miles range I might have been tempted to change sooner.

To change my long term plans the car would need to be in a different league .Minor tweaks, even if some of them are very welcome, wouldnt be enough . But something like the difference between a mk3 and a mk4's hybrid technology might be enough for an early change.  Funds permitting.

I am content with what I have for another 3 years.  Even if an all new mk5 with a different bodyshell came out  before then I might still keep my mk 4 until I am ready .  I dont need the very latest just to be fashionable.     On the other hand I wont buy a new car knowing it will shortly be obsolete  - unless there is a massive price reduction, and the new model is just more of the same in a new party frock.
So if after 5 years there is not yet a new mk5 but its expected soon, I might keep the mk 4  a bit longer to see whats  new.

I saw the new Advance today. Frankly I did not like the look of my EX front end at first but came round to it after reading the reviews, adding up the advantages, test driving, and getting used to it. The new one I like even less, too much plastic sticking out unbalances the look of the front of the car and will be a pain to keep clean and dry. I think they let the guy who designed the previous "Batmobile" Civic loose on it. The rest is just not much of an upgrade, or even little steps back.

Height adjustable passenger seat . So simple to do but Honda are deaf to customer needs, most arrogant of the major car manufacturers.
