Title: Honda advertising on the radio
Post by: Saycol on September 07, 2021, 11:43:07 AM
Listening to LBC radio this morning, an advert came on about driving and I believe concentration (or lack of) but hey don’t worry you can have a Lane Departure Warning system to keep you on track - in the new Honda Jazz.

Is this really the best they can come up with? Don’t all new cars require this system to get 5 star safety rating? Surely there must be a better USP?

I would be interested to know if anyone else has heard this advert and if so, what do they thought of it.

I heard a similar advert on the radio for the CRV, listing features normally found on cheaper cars.

I think it's called "Making a virtue out of a necessity."

I think it's called "We have no idea how to advertise our product".  :-[

The instant power and being a pleasure to drive doesn't seem to be worth mentioning nor does the Jazz attribute of packing a pint and a half into a pint space although sufficient rear seat legroom to hold a couple of giraffes won't be on most peoples' list of requirements. Probably whoever makes the adverts just looks at the specs and hasn't actually driven the vehicle.
