Other members are free to contact you via Personal Messages (PM) unless you disable this feature in your Profile. To disable PM's go to
Profile->Personal Message Options and enter

Although PMs and emails are deemed as private between sender and recipient they must not violate the site rules. Please forward any inappropriate PMs to the Administrator.
We recommend using the PM system when exchanging private information (names, addresses, etc) regarding for sale or wanted adverts or dealing with traders.
Please do not PM the Administrator with queries about your car.
