Hello and Help! Jazz MK2 1.4 i-VTECH. Gearbox not shifting in the automatic mode

Hi all

Good evening and happy to be here. 

Can anyone help with advice on my Honda Jazz MK2 1.4 i-VTECH's Gearbox not going beyond A3 in Auto mode? I can change gears manually but would like the auto to work as my daughter just passed her test in Automatic.

 I am in East London and the car is my life wire. Sorry I am a damsel in distress :-)

Are you sure that your car does not change up beyond A3 once warmed up?

Living in SW London I find my car (i-VTECH also) will often not change beyond A3 at times but will eventually go up through the gears.  I have not really investigated this but I think that it is generally because the system has not fully warmed up as most of my journeys are local.
