Squeaky bum time !

There are 4 Jazz in the family - why does the rear suspension always squeak? Dry bushes ? Rear spring rubber mounts?

Mine knocks, I thought it was the back seat but having been in another family members car, newer and in much better condition than mine, I could it faintly in that one too - I suspect it's thf bushes in the shock absorber.

I've no squeaks with 121k on the clock. Hope none arrive anytime soon as they are super annoying.

If you find the cure, do update the thread.  :)

Mine's quiet...so far.  But why not open the hatch and push up and down on the rear end to see if you can reproduce the squeak while at rest, so you can track down the source?

cant says ive had a Suspension squeek. although after i had a new cat and mid section exhaust replaced post theft every time i change gear or accelerate its like an avery under the bonnet damn think squeeks. .. yes every time i spray some copperslip or aluminuim spray on the 2 bolts and springs that attach it to the manifold its fine until it burns off grr
