isofix child seat fittings
« on: December 03, 2015, 08:54:12 PM »
(I do not have access to my 2015 model year September 2014 1.4 EX Plus Jazz at the moment.  So I cannot check it.)

The logbook unhelpfully says that some models have isofix fittings.  Does anyone know if my Jazz has isofix fittings?

It will do
Pretty much every car I can think of since at least 2007 has isofix bits
Only in the back anyway

Have a look on the seat back low down beside the rear seat belt buckles and you will see a couple of labels on each side adjacent to a slot in the seat fabric showing where the isofix mounts are. Stick your finger through the gap and you'll feel the bar which the child seat latches onto. There is also a rear tether point available for each side. Open the tailgate and at the top LHS and RHS there is an access panel which hinges down to reveal the tether point. This is an optional fitting with some child seats, some use a stabilising leg as an alternative which simply rests on the rear floor.
