Best buy Jazz ?
« on: January 22, 2014, 03:32:15 PM »
Following on from a previous topic, is there a "best buy" new Jazz from a purely financial/value for money/residual value point of view. On a car for 3/4 years

Don't want to discuss the "nearly new" buys thanks

Any thoughts

that would be the 1.2 s a/c £1500 cheaper than the ES and the more you pay the more depreciation you get

Value for money...

Bear in mind the 1.2 (1198cc) and the 1.4 (in fact, 1339cc) have just one-tenth difference in power.

Also, manual gearchange, I think, is cheaper than auto and it's the sweetest/easiest clutch and gearchange action you could ever meet.

That's if you can find a garage that has one in stock (or can get one as quickly as the other non-discounted models)  8)

Definately the best gearchange experience Ive had in a car of that size.

Well.......................

I went to the dealer & came home with a Civic  ;D

It's a 1.4SE Civic with the same engine as the Jazz 1.4's (6 speed box not 5)

Drives very well & performance is fine even with such a "small" engine

Couldn't resist the deal/price offered, cheaper than standard price for a lot of the Jazz models  8)

Strange old world car buying these days  ;)
