Information EVERY CVT Owner Should Know
« on: May 26, 2023, 06:26:42 PM »
Please see the attached photo.

Our old light blue Jazz suffered similar issues with a harsh juddering or grain ching coming from the left, & after a local mechanic checked for movement in the engine mounts, we determined the gearbox needed serious work or replacement & sold as spares or repairs for peanuts.

If this information saves someone from scrapping a good car, or spending a fortune on a recon gearbox, then it's worth letting as many CVT Jazz owners as possible know about it.

Hi mate! Thanks a lot for this info.
I have just one question, which one of the engine mounts I need to check? Where is located?
A better idea is to fix somehow the rubber insert in it's place, to avoid further unwanted movements.
LE I made a check on diagrams, it seems that the mount under the battery is the one I need to check.
Regards!
