Locking petrol flap
« on: September 28, 2022, 11:12:50 AM »
MartinJG reported a problem  with the  flap on the mk2 forum.    I thought I had read somewhere, that there is a way of opening the flap in an emergency , manually from the boot on the mk 4.   I thought it was in the drivers handbook..

But I've looked again and cant find it ,at least not in the on line version. I cant check the paper one at the moment.  or I'm thinking of another car.

It would be nice to know what form my senior moment takes  - Not being able to find it again or recalling something from the past  or its a figment of my imagination.  :-[

Dont worry about calling me gaga.  I know my pet unicorn keeps me sane.

Handkerchief and house key not enough?

I carry a Swiss army type knife in the centre console, that should have something suitable.  :)

Must stop biting finger nails so I can open the various blades and things
Let's be careful out there !
