Title: Hi from East Yorkshire
Post by: TerryR on December 08, 2018, 06:39:24 PM
Bought my '65 plate SE CVT last week and I am delighted with it.  Light miles at 13,500.

Question already - received my V5C and it states Jazz Series 4 but reading on the forum it appears to be a Mk3.  Are they the same?

There was an earlier Jazz that was the mark 1 years ago ( 1982 ), then it was reintroduced in 2002, for ease we refer to 2002 - 2008 model as mk1 ( but it is really mk2 ) the 2008 to early 2015 ( 15 plate) is actually mk3 , so yours is a mk4.

Hi Terry,
You may also see them listed by a 2 letter code, these are AA (oldest), GD, GE and GK. This can be useful to know if your looking for parts and your car is from a year they changed over models.

I've looked at the V5 again and notice just what you said (might be useful for others):-

  Make - Honda    Type - GK     Variant - GK301    Version  4

Guess the Variant in the model code.

   Regards Terry
