electic power assisted steering

My Jazz is less than 3 months old on odd occasions when I pass a certain spot on a road the EPS warning light flashes. The Honda techs cannot say what it is. I think it must be from an outside force (There is a mobile phone mast close by) but it doesn't happen every time. The steering does not appear to be affected and it is only on for a second has anybody else experienced this?
