What's under the bonnet...
« on: January 18, 2021, 08:42:31 PM »
And the rear cargo area?
I've registerd to https://www.marklines.com/ and used my "evaluation" free acces to read the reports about the new Honda Jazz Hybrid powertrain and Engine disassemble, which includes also the PCU and the battery.
If you're interested and want to check it without registering, you can look here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XHxQpx49VxxOO6ijuFeShD24cSrtCO5j

Download the two folder:
Honda Fit Hybrid Teardown_ Details of 1.5L HEV Engine - MarkLines Automotive Industry Portal_files
Honda Fit Hybrid Teardown_ Electric Components - MarkLines Automotive Industry Portal_files
And their associated html file on your PC and then open the html file, the webpage will be rendered on your browser.
If you do it from my Gdrive the page could not render correctly, especially with Chrome.

Inside the two folder you'll find also the images of the website downloaded at full resolution, just look for the folder "Full Res Image".

Also, prof. John D. Kelly has done a video about the e-drive system of the Accord and CR-V which you can see here: The Jazz e-drive system is exactly the same except for different gear ratios and smaller electric motors.

P.S. if someone wants to register to MarkLines and download the latest two reports about the Jazz... would be much appreciated  ;)

Done (dammi il tempo di caricarli).
Very interesting pages, a lot of improvements compared to my previous generation.

Very cool! Thanks for that.

As a matter of fact, the hi-res pictures from the reports are not protected against direct access.
You just have to edit the following urls with the image name (rep#number_pic#0number_I.jpg).

E.g.:

https://www.marklines.com/statics/report/img/ja/rep2097_001_l.jpg

https://www.marklines.com/statics/report/img/ja/rep2074_023_l.jpg

Ciao a tutti.

That explanation is crystal clear, a big thank for the video.

Best topic here!  :)
It's only me, or the page "teardown of the 1.5 ecc ecc'' doesn't work?
I was looking for more info, like the rod ratio, but the hi res pictures doesn't help and i dont see any text transcription..

Yes, unfortunately they are no longer displayed correctly, I think it's due some changes in the browsers.
When I have some spare time I'll try with an older browser to see if it solves.
