2006 cvt Jazz cvt problems
« on: March 02, 2018, 02:13:37 PM »
Afternoon all.
My wife has a Jazz 2006 cvt.   65000 miles limited service history.   it feels like it is holding in 6th gear and takes a long time to change up into 7th    .    open road  7o limit.  sounds like its revving high  but rpm say not that high

Any thoughts  or is it time to take to a cvt specialist ?

Thank you in advance

Pete

Unless you select the seven speed option the CVT doesn't have stepped gears, it is Continuously Variable . How do you know it is in 6th or 7th gear?
Fully wound up in high gear the revs are about 25mph/1000rpm in a 2006 CVT.
