2003 jazz remote keyless entry Hawk install
« on: December 03, 2017, 07:51:47 PM »
I have just fitted a Hawk keyless entry system on a 2003 jazz GD1.
Here are some pictures of how the connections were made.

Hello,  what model / year is your jazz? I have pictures of all the installation and how to do it.

Hello,  mine is a 2003 S which did not have remote locking as standart. Are you sure that your se did not have remiote locking originally? If it was not fitted originally, the process of fitting the hawk system is fairly straight forward. The main issue was attaching the hawk wiring to the jazz wiring. I used different sized scotch locks that i bought from Halfords, although you can probably buy then from ebay more cheaply. the red scoth locks used on the lock/unlock wiring are slightly too big for the thin wire, so i stripped off about 1mm of insulation where the scotch lock cuts into the wire.
