can a amp fit on a standard 05 SE head unit ?

well that's my question really, I found my amp that i was going to put in my mini, its a 250w amp Sony xplod or how ever you spell it correctly and what i want to do is take the back 2 speakers out and Put in these 2 6" subs and so i was wondering will the head unit allow a aftermarket amp ?

Yeah if you can fit it onto the door you can swap the manufacturer speakers. I have done it on my car on the front and rear.

thanks mate, but i am going to need to put a amp in and what i need to know is can it plug straight in to the head unit or am i gonna need a new one ?

I doubt if there is any RCA output for amp on the manufacturer`s radio.

hi fella you can run and amp from the oe head unit! i've done so on my 2006 jazz sport! you need a Autoleads PC1-601 Rear speaker to RCA converter kit! you need to find the rear door speaker wires and splice into that! Left Rear Door Speaker : BLU/BLK & BLU/WHT
Right Rear Door Speaker : BLY/YEL & PINK! hope that helps!
