Honda Welcome Pack
« on: May 11, 2011, 11:52:30 AM »
Hi, I bought a new Honda Jazz from a main dealer in the UK and it came with a black folder with an Owners Manual inside.  However, I didnt get any paperwork regarding the included 3 years AA membership, and I also didn't get a Service Manual.  (the Owners manual has a couple of pages for servicing for "models without a Service Book", but that's all)

I wanted to ask, what did you guys get with your new Jazz?  Did you get an Owners Manual AND a Service Book AND details about your AA cover?

I phoned Honda UK and they're being incredibly vague about it.  At first they said they'd post it out to me within a month, it didnt happen so I phoned again and they said wait another month... and today they said its the dealers responsibility.

My Owners Manual and Service Book were in the black folder. The Hondacare Assistance stuff was in a card folder.

It's your dealer that has let you down. Have a go at them.

Both your Dealer and Honda are not providing the service that they should do. I have taken delivery of a large number of cars and I have always had the service book supplied with the car, I have not heard of this happening before. I would send an e-mail complaint to the Managing Director of the dealer and copy the MD of Honda Cars UK Mr David Hodgetts (david.hodgetts@honda.co.uk), they both need to sort their customer service out. You need the service book to prove the service record of the car.

Just push the dealer to deliver, if no progress let them know you will be letting other owners know of their indifference

I rang 0845 2008001 (Honda Happiness) and they said they would send out a replacement welcome pack.  They said this includes details of the AA membership.
