Leaking Rear Brake Caliper Seal on 2009 GE

My Jazz EX 2009 has just had a replacement seal on the rear brake caliper.
Fault caused the VSA and the Brake Warning light to come on.
Brake fluid had leaked out causing the master cylinder fluid to run down.
Fault fixed under warranty by dealer whoo claims this has never happened before.
Anybody else out there had this problem?
