Reversing Sensors for GE
« on: June 03, 2010, 02:56:39 PM »
Has anyone had sensors fitted other than by Honda. They have quoted me £378! for retrofit. I have been quoted nearer £180 by a company on the net called Chameleon. Does anyone know of them or any other company doing retro fits?

I had mine fitted at a local radio come electronics firm for £200 my dealer said it could affect my warranty.  When i collected my car the honda dealer had a civic there having sensors fitted. say no more!!!

I've got a detachable reversing sensor. It doesn't beep, but goes "Back a bit... back a bit more... whoa!" Unfortunately it requires regular feeding and occasional maintenance.

Dealers!

All main dealers think they are so high and mighty, they all need bringing down a peg or two and a good slap is good place to start.  >:(

Much as I like my Jazz I have to say all the Honda dealers I've encountered have had the same pompus attitude.

Do Honda have a special course they send 'em on?

This is the reason I left the installation of aftermarket foglight kit to my local Honda dealer. Although not genuine Honda, no problem for them.
