Wheel Nut Question

I would like to replace the slightly tatty chrome wheels nuts on the Jazz and I know I need M12x1.5 19mm hex (ball/cone seat), the overall length of the originals are 25mm but most replacements seem to be 30mm, any reason why these would not be suitable except for the obvious that they will protrude 5mm
