Modulo Style front grille plus OEM spoiler..
« on: January 22, 2010, 02:25:46 PM »
Just a reminder: Im not from UK Im from Istanbul Turkey...

When I saw Honda accessory front grille, loved it very much. But its quite expensive here. £260 without application..

Anyway I found this local Turkish company importing accessories directly from Japan or Taiwan. Prices are all good. Full body kit incl paint and application is about £450.

I asked them whether they paint to the chrome colour. They said they dont. But I bought it anyway £50...
It has original Honda code on it..So its either original or a fake by moulding the original grille (I hope this is the proper English word).

There is an industry here we call them "galvanizers" they coat ABS plastics with chrome . I found one in the neighbourhood ..And they made it chrome coated for only £8.

Then I had it applied by a private service for only £4

So whis happened  very good and cheap mod for a good money.

PS: There is a tape on the LHD side of the car. There is no fault there. Guy applied some silicone there for a good result.

OEM spoiler will be ready at April. I have reserved one for £50..They have Mugen spoiler. I put an unpainted one over the car. But it does not look good on a car without a body kit and lowering springs..

Finally , I got the OEM spoiler
Total cost including prime spoiler, painting, application and 18% VAT is 120 TL (which makes just under 50 GBP)

Cheap  :o
But If I would buy it again I would go for a bit bigger one. Nothing extreme but this EU Jazz spoiler is too discreet :)

Edit:
x-rayted, check new sport grill look

Very nice  8)

As some members know, I've been looking at getting a complete bodykit for my GE as I have the J's Racing (replica) front lip spoiler.

Recently enquired about getting the Mugen side skirts and rear lip spoiler and just those 3 bits of plastic came in just over £1,000 :o thats not even painted!!

Might just get some new alloys for the time being as that should transfer the look somewhat- although I'm still undecided what alloys to get  ::)
