They moved the HR-V production from Mexico to Japan already.

Don't thing Honda were happy with Mexican quality anyway, probably glad of an excuse to move production to Japan. Some Japanese companies are severing their supply chains from China in a bid to stay on the right side of Trump and avoid tarriffs being imposed on Japanese goods by USA.
