Track rod repalcement
« on: March 20, 2018, 03:41:05 PM »
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and it looks like the right place to be.
I got an MOT advisory for my 2006 1.2 Jazz re near side front track rod end wear.
I've bought replacement and a Haynes manual but disappointed that there are no torque settings given.
Can anyone please advise re torque settings and maybe an on-line work shop manual?
Thank you in advance.

From my Haynes book, page 10.2 - Trackrod end balljoint nut - 43 Nm or 32 lbf ft.

I don't bother with a torque wrench on trackrod ends though, moderate force with a spanner is normally all that's required.

There's an online Honda Jazz/Fit manual here
