My 09 Jazz's seats seems to be wearing out so I investigate on replacing them with the Si seats but on eBay they are selling £199 each! Also I was wondering if the side airbags will be affected if I did changed the seats?
I had a look at jcseatcovers but they are not cheap.
Has anyone change the cloth itself?

How many miles have you done? Are you using it as a taxi? My seats are not as clean as they might be, but even with my 18 stone bum on the seat they are neither worn or saggy, after 103,000 miles.

I had the drivers seat changed at 190,000 on my now ex-Jazz. I bought one from a breakers yard for £80, from a Jazz with only 20,000 miles on it, so it was in very good condition.
I got Honda to fit it as they said the seat airbag needed to be neutralised on installation.

I am a driving instructor and the car has done 83000 miles, Jocko. When I brought the car in 2012 at 22k miles, the passenger seat had a "dip" in the middle. The right seat cushion pad support is very soft on the driver seat-may be the previous owner sat towards the right. Eventhough with everyday useage by different pupils, the seat is not bad, I wash it every 6 months, but if I can get a nice pair of seats, that will make my interior nicer!
Ozzie, do you remember how much it costs to have the seats fitted by Honda dealer? Thanks again!

I suppose under those conditions, with bums in and out every 45 minutes of the day, wear and tear is to be expected. When you spoke about changing the cloth itself I thought the covers must be well worn out.
