Handbook update.
« on: January 24, 2024, 01:42:09 PM »
I had a notification message appear on the consul this morning. When I opened it, it was to tell me there was an update for the handbook. I installed it (1 of 5), and it updated nice and dandy.
However, I have never used the handbook... so I haven't the foggiest what section/area/bit has actually had an update.

I always use the online PDF, downloaded

It has more pages and it can be searched if needed
Let's be careful out there !

I had that update as well, although likewise don't ever use the in car version.

Not sure whats up with mine, I agree to the update and it comes back that it couldn’t be updated, then again the system doesn’t seem to want me connected to appleplay 🤔

I got the little red 'number one'   notification ,which when pressed  gave the option of the update.

Forewarned by this thread I just pressed the 'decline' button. :P  ;D

I have never used the built in version anyway. And never likely to. ( I got a printed version which I carry in the car. )

I mostly use the on- line  pdf version which has more information and is searchable.  I will make sure I have downloaded the latest version of this in case there are any significant changes.  Its time I read it again anyway.   I can then claim the things I never knew , or already forgotten ,must be  new updates.  ;D

Why I don't have decline option? That red dot keeps bothering.
