Boot mat for hybrid?

I can't find these online, the fit is different for the 1.3 IMA hybrid. All top google results for well-reviewed uk car mat specialists only have
will NOT fit the hybrid model versions

Depends if you just want to protect the boot , or insist on tailored fit with shaped and raised edges etc.
On my Mk 4 hybrid I just used universal boot rubber matting , which is widely available on liine for about £10 inc postage. But I think I have seen it in "The Range" store for about £7.
Its plenty large enough and easy to cut to shape using scissors. It can be a bit wrinkled when first unwrapped but soon settles down well enough. And as with all rubber matting it might smell a bit for a few days until the solvents used in manufacture have evaporated off. Its a good idea to open it out and hang it out to air for a couple of days before fitting. But this can happen even with a tailored fit one.
When fitting check that you are not covering any air vents or circulation spaces used to regulate the temperature of the hybrid battery. There was no such problem on the Mk4 but I dont know about the earlier hybrid.
I find it does a good job of boot protection but is probably a bit too thin for use for making foot mats if anyone is thinking of doing that.
Here is a random listing on E bay.
