Towbar
« on: April 06, 2019, 06:04:24 PM »
Hi,
I could really do with fitting a towbar on my 2011 1.4 cvt to pull a small camping trailer. Officially the cvt is not suitable for towing though for the life of me I can't see why. Comments and advice please,
Chris

I have a 2013 Jazz CVT and had a removeable towbar fitted to it to tow a lightweight trailer for cart rubbish and stuff that is too big for the boot. Gross weight would normally be no more a ton and have experienced no problems so far.
The one I chose was a Witter which is very easy to fit and remove. Not cheap but quality never is, that's why you've got a Honda!

If you fit a towbar remember to inform your insurance company. Some if not all, consider it a modification.
