Hi,
The original spark plugs are good for 75,000 miles but are very expensive if replaced like for like. Cabin fuses are behind a pull out cover low down on the right hand side of the steering wheel. All the info is in the dervers handbook which can be found in a compartment in the base of the offside rear seat squab,
Chris

I bought the correct Bosch iridium-tipped plugs on Ebay and managed to fit them without removing anything...purely by feel and using a plug spanner with an articulated head. It's tricky but possible. Each plug has a coil on top and so long as you know what you're doing, it's a 15-minute job. Good luck...

Take off the wipers and cover, its quite easy, then you have loads of access.

I bought 4 x NGK DIFR6A13G Iridium/Platinum plugs yesterday from 'daimart1' on eBay for £54.99 delivered.

Best price I could find for the genuine article.

Sorry to hijack the thread but i am also looking for spark plugs for my 2010 1.4l i-vtec Jazz.

I have always used NGK Iridiums on my 2004 Civic Type R and they were reasonably priced but on looking for ones for the Jazz they are about double the price for the NGK one's Honda state to use.

As the Jazz is not as high strung or as powerful as the K20 engine in my Civic i am not so sure i need to be forking out high sums for plugs in the Jazz engine.

I have seen the Bosch one's are about half the price of the NGK and Denso's. Will there really be that much of a difference using the Bosch one's. Has anyone had success with the Bosch Iridium's and if so what part number did you use?

Cheers
Stu

I bought the Bosch double iridium plugs in February 2018 and they have been great. The original pluhs had done around 60,000 and the performance of the new Bosch plugs was noticeably better.
If you put L13Z1GE into Ebay, they'll come up at just under £40 for all four. I think this is the Ebay listing reference:

See this thread - it is a short thread but there are links in it to other threads. There are also a few threads on this forum about getting access to plugs on i-vtec MK2, as they are not easy to get to without taking some of the scuttle off.

Couple of youtube videos on here

https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=9164.0

I used iridium NGK plugs for £12 each from Opie oils ( iridium centre electrode and platinum block on the ground electrode IIRC,  for our MK2, the Honda ones were about £30 each,  That was over 20,000 miles ago and it has been fine since - I did notice a decent boost in smoothness and 'go' after i changed plugs 10,000 miles early in both Jazz and Civic.

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

I will be changing my plugs very soon and given the nightmarish prospect of removing umpteen items just to get at them, I am inclined to use the best quality plugs simply to delay the hassle for as long as possible before the next change is due.
