Steering creaking when turning 2002 1.4 sport 56k

Hi have a 2002 jazz with 56k on it / car is doing 3000 mls per year town driving . Getting a slight creaking noise from steering when turning audible more so when parking is it anything to worry about or just the sign of age. Any one any idea of price of a steering rack worst case scenario / do any 3 rd parties manufacture ? Is a creaking noise from jazz a common observation by members but nothing to worry about ? Thanks
