It could be that the car is 'learning' that it has S/S again? The only car I ever had with S/S was a Skoda Citigo, and I pressed the button to disable the system the moment the car was started. Never used it.

We rented a VW T-Roc for a week last year. The amount of things you've to disable at the start of a journey is so frustrating. A clear 2 minutes of fiddling about just to get the car in 'analogue' mode free of driver aids. Flippin annoying. By comparison, the little Citigo was a breeze. Less is more when it comes to buttons IMHO.  :D
