This happened about 3 miles from where I live.
I was out walking the dog that night & heard all the sirens & saw the Police helicopter flying low ,then hovering for a few mins.
Only found out next morning on the local news what had happened.
If it moves,Funk IT !!!

It's actually very difficult (and quite an achievement) to get onto a motorway the wrong way.



Think about it.

Try it (in your imagination - of course!) at motorway intersections you visit.......you'll see what I mean.

This happened on the M6 toll road - was just wondering, if you go through a tollgate the wrong way do they give you £5 :)

Sorry, but I can think of several motorway/dual carriageway intersections where it is very easy to get on the wrong carriageway. You simply drive down the road that's leaving the motorway rather than the one that's joining it.

I use these type of junctions every week and most of the time I go the correct way but you would have to be very seriously impaired to make the mistake.

I am a 77 year old Jazz driver so I drive the way many people expect someone of my age to drive!!
