An old owner for an old Jazz!
« on: August 18, 2013, 04:39:16 PM »
We have just bought and will be taking delivery next week, a 2002 Jazz SE CVT7.
The mileage is very low, with a service history.
I need an auto as bad sciatica has made my feet quite insensitive, causing my driving of a manual car to be "interesting"!
The only change I can envisage is changing the radio/cassette for a radio/CD, which I understand is possible.
What recommendations are there for looking after the gearbox?

Hello, and welcome. Regarding maintenance of CVT gearbox, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that you change gear box oil with Honda CVTF fluid at 48000 miles then every 36000 miles or 4 years, whichever  occurs first.

Thank you for your reply!
CVT oil has been changed by the supplying dealer before delivery, at my insistence and with the correct Honda type, thanks to advice seen in these forums. :-*
