Thanks Gary and cheers for the info pneuma, it's going back to the garage 1st thing in the morning. Just out of interest, how much money and work would it of been to turbocharge your jazz if you had went through with it?

Nice car dude. I like the mods so far, I too didnt know the rear spring cup sits at the top and not the bottom, im sure mine is at the bottom too!

As for you headunit, what choice is that? And where did you buy the new plastic dash surround thing to cover the gap? Its something ive been looking into, but not done yet.

Cheers Danny , head unit is a pioneer fh-x700bt. I bought the facia adapter from eBay, think it cost about £140. You'll also need an adapter to connect your new head unit to your stereo harness which came from eBay too for £30. I only intended to change the stereo but one thing led to another and ended up upgrading the whole system lol sounds nice though  :)

Thanks for the info. I really like the look of that unit.  The price seems to range massively though huh? CarAudioSecurity who i usually use wants 140+del for it, but they are selling it on ebay for 122 delivered.

I think i might have to convince the boss to let me have a new unit, and promise her im only upgrading the stereo haha (like that will happen)

This is true, I bought mine from eBay for 125 but it didn't come with a cage and most likely the cage that comes with the head unit won't fit. The one from C.A.S for 140 is probably a full kit so it will save you from buying one after. Halfords do a kit for the same price, I had no idea you could get facia kits from honda but if you can then go there or if pneuma is selling his you've bagged yourself a bargain.

Cheers Tom, I think your jazz was the first one I see when I first joined the forum. I remember thinking it was awesome lol. I have noticed the same thing but I've never seen any on the street.

Had a guy from arch enemy come to my house to sort out my rubbing issues, turns out it was the owner himself. Felt privileged

after putting the car on coils i was happy it was low but something was bugging me about the front end. I looked online for front splitters but wasn't very successful. One day I came across a J's Racing splitter so I emailed them and shortly got a reply saying it would be £250, I was happy with that until i found out i would have to pay the same again for shipping so that was out of the question. I decided to try and fabricate one out of fibre glass which started going well but had to bail on that as the amount of materials needed would of cost a fair bit.
