Using the HDMI port

Has any one managed to connect their iPhone and use the HDMI port for viewing videos (while stopped of course!)

I managed to get an adapter to connect to my iPhone 11 and use a HDMI to HDMI cable from it to the Honda but no joy

Has anyone used the HDMI port to mirror their iPhone? If so any chance they could post an image of the cabling set up
