I too have a i-Shift and up until last year, found it very sluggish. However, I have been using Shell V-Power and omg, it has made a Hugh difference. Now it seems to hold on A2 for a bit longer for me to press the gas faster. Definitely worth the extra £.

Some people on this forum will tell you that what you have experienced with higher octane fuel is a 'placebo effect' because higher octane is not supposed to improve Jazz performance  :-X. But I have used it often and noticed a difference  :P
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

I noticed an improvement too. Just not enough to warrant the extra cost per gallon.
