Number of Jazz Si built
« on: April 08, 2021, 09:37:00 PM »
I believe that the total number of Si built was 1,000. This was split into four colours, red, blue, white and black. Would I be correct in assuming that 250 of each colour were built. I have put this question to Honda UK and unfortunately they have been able to assist.

Howmanyleft says approx. 8,000 Jazz Si models registered in the UK between 2010-2015

My reading of the numbers is there were only 1600 (approx) Mk 2 Si's but many more of the Mk3 CVT models.

That's the total number still registered or sorned with DVSA at that point - after 2015, the numbers stop increasing.

These show how many were newly registered in each year

Jazz I-VTEC Si (2010-2011) - https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_jazz_i-vtec_si#!newreg

Jazz Si I-VTEC (2012-2015) - https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_jazz_si_i-vtec#!newreg

It's in two blocks due to the subtle change in model name recorded on logbook.

Well my mk2 is silver, maybe the mk3 is split into the four colours you mention? I’m sure there are more than 1000 built though, as previous posts mention the registered vehicles are higher than that.

I looked up the list and read HONDA JAZZ SI-VTEC as HONDA JAZZ SI I-VTEC.

I don't think there was ever a mk3 'Si' model - only S, SE, Sport and EX trims.

'Si i-VTEC' only appears in 2010-2015 model listings.

2010-11 Mk2 Si was a run out model before the facelift and was I think based on either the 1.2 SE or 1.4 ES with different wheels and grill and other minor differences. The Si didn't return until 2012 and was a completely different model, more or less an EX with a bodykit, different wheels and no glassroof.

Makes sense, would explain the obvious gap in registrations.

Not sure which the OP has, I don't think he's visited the forum since posing the initial question...  ???
