Clutch delay valve
« on: July 21, 2016, 01:13:51 PM »

The American Honda Fits have this valve fitted so I assume the Jazz does as well.
This would explain why the clutch does not have any "feel".
I thought it was just me getting used to driving a manual.

this limits the flow of oil back out of the slave cylinder to stop clutch being ' dropped' too suddenly and stressing transmission

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

So no more "kangaroo" starts!   Learning to drive must be very dull these days

I'm not so sure that EUDM Jazz have this valve fitted, there are several differences between USDM Fits and EUDM Jazz: for instance, Jazz do not fit the rear bumper aluminum bar.
I'd like to see some schemes and drawings for the EU GK , but they still are not online...
