Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Buying Advice - Jazz Advance

From my experience car salesmen can often  change quite often in a dealership but aftersales and servicing  staff can be much more permanent. That has certainly been my experience with the dealership that Ninanina has already mentioned and as I have said before sometime earlier in a thread they have given me excellent support over many years.

I would say take a look at how low slung the battery pack on this thing is...

Clearly it's an adaptation of the HR-V and suffers in this respect because of it. Ground clearance is worse than a normal Jazz and it's an SUV!

Ground Clearance - Non load (mm): 135
Ground Clearance - with Full Load (mm): 111.3

Jazz is 136.0 and 146 (for the Crosstar).

Normal HR-V is: 188 unladen and 149 with a full load!

It doesn't get very good reviews and I read somewhere that it's not a 'real' Honda but a Chinese clone model with Honda badges

Not from Joying but another seller on Ali. Here's the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006202760755.html

Should be the same thing as what you bought off Amazon, just cheaper but expect it to arrive around the same time so don't mind waiting.
Yes, that’s the one. Your Joying should be delivered within 5 working days of ordering. I was expecting FedEx to charge me VAT, import duty & a handling charge but so far (6 weeks) no invoice has arrived, I’m crossing my fingers.

Just saw this video where a guy removes some hardware to disable the external beep warning when you walk away from the car with the keys on his CRV.

Anyone know the location of that on the mk3 Jazz? It’s obviously a similar setup

I have 195x55/16 on my 2019 Sport and I think it should be the standard size, looks better and protects your rims

Good news ! My jazz was finished today with new wiring loom and air con condenser . All seems good so far ! Speaking with the service dept it seems honda UK HO re warrantry depends on whom you deal with as to the outcome ! Not consistent !

At long last I have an update.  Honda has repaid me all the money I spent at both dealerships for the brake simulator repair.  Money back and a car that works!

My grateful thanks to all the posters on this forum.  Your comments were a great support and encouraged me to keep going when it seemed like the odds were well and truly stacked against me.

My first decision now is deciding whether or not to pursue a compensation claim from the first dealership for the poor and incomplete job they did  with the repair and, of course, for the ban for being an unhappy customer.

The second decision is whether or not I sell the Honda and buy a Toyota.

Thanks again for all the helpful information on this forum.
