Hello
Just got my first Honda Jazz 2018 SE manual drive on Friday in Sunset Orange colour. I'm very pleased with it so far.
It was registered in June, 2018 with just one lady owner.
I bought it online from Cazoo with 12000 miles on the clock, it's in great condition both inside and out.
It cost me £9200 all in.
Drives lovely. It was fully serviced in October and Cazoo says it gives them a 150 point service check and you get 90 day warranty and RAC breakdown cover. They can sell you a 1 year extended warranty for £299 after that if you want, but I will wait and see before then.
Never bought a car without physically seeing it before. I tried out my friends Jazz before hand and me and my Mrs
decided it would be the best practical option for our retirement. We are both 66
I dislike haggling with 2nd hand car dealerships: it's all a pantomime, so this option suited me well, when you know what you want to buy.
The purchase and delivery to our home from Cazoo was first class, the staff great and no complaints.
You can return the car after 7 days at no cost if you are not happy. I will be definitely keeping it.
The bodywork is in great shape. No dents/scuffs. Looks like new.
I did spot half a dozen tiny stone chips which I fixed with a Honda Sunset Orange touch up paint pen kit which I bought in advance. I have read that Honda paint is very thin and Honda are known for not being generous at splashing on the paint, unlike say VW.
I bought a 15"spacesaver wheel and jack tools from thewheelshop for £100. This clamps in to the bottom of the boot
fine. I dislike the supplied puncture repair kits they all want to give you these days.
As suggested on your forum I will make a support frame to go over the wheel to support the boot carpet. I was not prepared to pay £300 ish for the overpriced official Honda one, despite the better foam plastic support-do they sell this plastic bit seperately ?
The official one for our last car, a Kia Picanto, was only £150 with jack tools and plastic holder/support which was more reasonable.
Rant over!
Love this forum, and it will be great to read about other members' experiences and views/opinions.
