I've been trying out Automatic Cruise Control again. I drove 100 miles to my daughters house. Most of the journey is on the M40 and then M25. The ACC worked well and gave me no scares. I set the detection distance to middle setting.

I also used Lane Keep Assist which was sometimes not good at detecting white lines in heavy rain.

I've got used to LIM now. I'm quite happy to keep my foot on the loud pedal and ease off and speed up manually when appropriate. Then I can accelerate back to the limit without worrying about exceeding the Specs controlled zones.
