Instead they throw the Daihatsu Materia in to the mix; a good £3k less then the others tested and low and behold, it comes last. You can't even say it's there just to make the numbers up.

Honestly, what on earth goes through the minds of these motoring writers? The £10,750 Daihatsu Malaria is hardly the most logical choice against these cars. The shortsightedness of Car magazine in not added the Jazz 1.4 EX against these cars is sheer madness. If you're looking at the C3 Picasso and the others the Jazz is the logical alternative.
