Replacing a major service with a minor service.
« on: February 26, 2025, 05:51:13 PM »
I do almost exactly 5000 miles a year in my Jazz.

The Honda dealership tells me I need alternative minor and major services annually. I suggested to them getting a major service followed by 2 minor services. They told me this may lead to warning lights coming up on my dashboard.

Is this correct?

The dealership are otherwise very good.

Luke.

thats what i do, major and  two minors

you can reset the service stuff yourself in the round screen using the steering wheel buttons on the lower right

i do about 4000 miles a year as i run another car as well so no need for air filters and pollen filters every other year

My dealer used to inform me that some items were not needed on my very low mileage Civic but they always asked my permission to skip certain items
Let's be careful out there !
