« on: December 24, 2016, 09:48:15 PM »
Hi all new to the forum .

Recently purchased a honda fit that has been imported from japan in 2015.

Do have issue with remote key entry as it is not unlocking the door or locking . Guessing something up with reciever module ? .

Kind regards
Muddy

Very nice, although not sure about that aerial? on the front nearside.

It might just need the remote pairing again, or it may be Japanese domestic market cars of that period had a non-EU compliant frequency in use and the importer had to disable it.  The UK fob is 433MHz and has an LED on it which should light if battery is OK when buttons pressed.

The car will store up to three codes.
To pair a remote is quite simple. *

Sit in car with doors closed.
Repeat this sequence 3 times:
- Turn ignition to ON(II)
- Press 'Lock'
- Switch off ignition
Now switch ON(II) again
Press Lock twice (you can hear door lock actuators)
Within 10s press Lock on any other fobs you wish to add
Switch off ignition

Get out and test it.

If you need a new receiver I have a couple of spares, they just plug in near the cabin fusebox and are just about reachable with a small hand.

That is a parking pole lol

I'm not sure I have changed the battery on the fob but still dose not lock or unlock and my key fob don't have a led , looks like the car did have a key card which most jdm cars have but importer said it was not sent with the car when he imported. I have tried pairing the fob using the example you have showed as I have done that on my previous hondas but still no joy . I'm thinking it maybe the reciever like you said I have just ordered one.
